Frederick W. McClaine is Executive Vice President of Brown & Brown of Indiana, Inc. (Brown & Brown). As Profit Center Leader of Brown & Brown he is privileged to lead 70 highly trained insurance professionals to service over $850,000,000 of clients' premium, making Brown & Brown the largest insurance intermediary in the State of Indiana. Prior to the merger with Brown & Brown in November 2008, McClaine was the President of Agency Associates, Inc.

Agency Associates grew 800% from 1996 to 2008 under McClaine's leadership and direction. Prior to joining Agency Associates he was retained by Lincoln National Corporation to design and create a regional independent insurance agency from scratch in 1992 and merged that agency with Agency Associates, Inc. in 1996. McClaine career began with AAA where he was a leader of the north Indianapolis office from 1982 to 1992.

McClaine received several awards over the years from insurance associations and companies, and he was instrumental in re-establishing the "The Young Agents Committee " (YAC) for the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana (IIAI), an award winning national network of young independent insurance agents. Through the YAC McClaine helped establish the insurance BS program at both Ball State and Indiana State University. He also has served on the IIAI Board of Directors, the Hartford Insurance National JTC council, Travelers Insurance Agent Council and the Selective Insurance Agent Council. He is an active member of the Marian University corporate council and Alumni of Indiana State University.

He and his wife Jamie, a very successful author of children's books, own their own publishing company, JAFS Publishing. They enjoy traveling to warm climates and spending time with their two children Maci and Graysen. They are active members of St. Alphonsus Parish in Zionsville, Indiana where he is a member of the Parish's Knights of Columbus, chairman of the Parish Outreach committee and has served on the Parish Finance council.
