Gerrad joined Brown and Brown through the merger with Mavum Consulting in December of 2010 and has over 8 years of experience in Employee Benefits. Gerrad specializes in servicing fully insured and large self funded employer groups. His experience includes health and welfare strategic planning, benefit plan design approaches, competitive marketing strategies, vendor negotiations, program implementation, and wellness strategies.

With Mavum, Gerrad spent his first three years as a consultant and then transitioned into an account manager role to establish a proven model for exceptional service for his clientele. Currently, he manages benefit plans for several local religious organizations and national accounts.

Gerrad graduated in 2002 from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC with a degree in Psychology. His family is involved at their church in the children’s Bible club, AWANA. They also volunteer with the local Safe Families for Children program by providing parents in need with mentoring relationships and tangible support in times of crisis. During his free time Gerrad enjoys spending it with his wife, Sarah, and their four kids, Denae, Austin, Avery, and Deja.
